Another way to get involved is by joining one of our campus engagement groups. Sharpen your leadership skills and help educate, support, and enhance our campus and community.
Do you enjoy volleyball? Soccer? Ping-Pong? Euchre? You’re sure to find something that interests you in our wide variety of team and individual activities. Meet new people and stay active by participating in intramural sports.
You can develop leadership skills through the many opportunities available on campus. With a focus on development, leadership skills, and service opportunities, we offer several leadership camps and our Lunches with Leaders program.
Go Local and the BIG Event
When you take part in our Go Local initiatives and the BIG Event, you will make a difference and connect with the Fort Wayne community and northeast Indiana region. Getting involved will provide great ways for you—and the university—to make a positive impact.
National Student Exchange
Through the National Student Exchange, you may study for up to one academic year at another location in the United States or Canada while paying regular Purdue Fort Wayne tuition and fees. With nearly 200 universities and colleges from which to choose, you will be able to find a school that meets your academic and personal needs and interests.

Student Government Association
Interested in being an advocate? Making a difference? Investing in your campus? Consider joining our Student Government Association.
You will find more than 140 student organizations on campus. Choose from club sports; departmental, diversity, and culture groups; honors societies; and religious, social, and special-interest organizations. You’re sure to find something to interest you, and student organizations are a great way to get involved on campus.
If you find yourself in need of emergency groceries, the Pantry is here for you. Faculty, staff, and community members make generous donations to support this service. The Pantry is open Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Walb Union, Room 215.
